Michigan Faire 2008 

Well its been a week and Ive posted a few of the photos from my trip to the Michigan Renaissance faire last weekend (9/6-9/7). Ive posted just a few here that I had fun with using various colorizing techniques.

The weather was fantastic and it was also the Invasion weekend for the Outlanders. It was in all a great weekend with great friends and adventure! My heartiest welcome to the newest members of our Michigan Chapter! 

Well next month will be my trip to the Ohio Faire, a place that I really enjoy as I have taken some of my best photos at that faire.

 I simply never tire of the hauntingly elegant Star of the Sea by Stellamara. Sonja Drakulich's rich, siren-like vocals are paired with stately, reverential beats, and an exceptionally rare mood is established as a result—one both seductive and solemn. This album draws on the most arcane and ancient melodies from 13th and 15th century Galacia, Croatia, and Persia, and makes them relevant and engaging. "Zephyrus" is an incredible track, as is "Immrama"—an almost incomprehensibly subtle medieval Irish song concerning a hero's sea journey to the Otherworld.

Hey everyone. I made it to the Northern Wisconsin Faire last weekend and had  great time. As always the folks there are the best! Thanks to Sir Clisto for  the access to the faire. Participating with the court was great and fun. I should have a few photos posted here shortly. The rest will be at  my site ( which is being re-designed) in a few days.
